# Diktator 2.1 — Build 70

Released September 5, 2026 for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later.

- Improved input-method setup: after installation and macOS approval, switching the option off and on reuses the approved helper.
- Improved focus handling after text insertion and cancellation of stale helper activation callbacks.
- The website edition uses its own dictation shortcuts and insertion routes and no longer registers the legacy macOS Service.
- Refined onboarding, translation settings, processing choices and status colors.
- Improved Free-mode insertion and model handling. Free uses Small; activation restores the previous advanced model when available.
- License summaries show the actual Mac limit returned by the licensing service; an unavailable limit remains unknown.
- Localized activation errors distinguish invalid or inactive keys from connection or service failures.

Local dictation, model translation, optional Apple Translation and all 13 interface languages are retained. Recognition stays on the Mac. Apple Translation depends on the resources and On-Device Mode selected in macOS.

## Known issue

Command-V may not paste a license key in the activation dialog. Right-click the field and choose Paste. This keyboard-shortcut issue is deferred to a future release.
