# Diktator 2.2.2 — Build 79

Released September 23, 2026 for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later, including macOS 27.

## What’s new

- A cleaner recognition setup: removed the general English keyboard-term hint from dictation and let the speech model handle punctuation naturally.
- More flexible Pro recording controls: the noise threshold and automatic stop on silence now work with or without segmented dictation.
- A consistent Pro transcript window: when enabled, it also shows recording and processing status, then the final text, for an unsegmented dictation.
- Clearer proofreading settings: after-stop proofreading applies to segmented dictation; unsegmented dictation uses one recognition pass.
- More stable Settings layout, with full-width option cards and compact shortcut instructions in Settings and onboarding.

## Existing features remain available

Recognition models, translation options, Free and Pro access, saved preferences, Direct licenses, and existing feature entitlements are unchanged. This update does not add new recognition models or change pricing.

## Update information

This is the website edition for Apple silicon Macs. The app and installer are Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple. Automatic updates use the existing signed Diktator update channel.
