Released October 5, 2026 for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later, including macOS 27.

## What’s new

- Removed automatic background downloads of small Chinese and Japanese diagnostic packs in the website edition.
- License activation and refresh use a neutral device label instead of the computer name.
- Clarified privacy information for Apple translation on the device, separately downloaded language models, and possible Apple API usage metrics that exclude original and translated text.

## Existing features remain available

Speech recognition, translation options, Free and Pro access, saved preferences, and Direct licenses remain available. This update does not add recognition models or change pricing.

## Update information

This is the website edition for Apple silicon Macs. The app and installer are Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple. Automatic updates use the existing signed Diktator update channel.
