Diktator! Lite 0.7.1 is a Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled DMG for Apple Silicon Macs. It does not install Homebrew. If a compatible Homebrew/whisper engine is already present, Diktator! may use it; otherwise it uses the bundled speech engine.
App Store testing
Want to test the App Store build?
Diktator+ is the website direct-download edition and remains the current public Mac download. It can include deeper direct Mac integration, including Accessibility-based text placement. The App Store/TestFlight build is a separate, stricter edition: no Accessibility or Input Monitoring, standard macOS Services delivery where supported, and Copy All or drag fallback when a target app cannot receive the result directly.

Text quality pipeline
Built for cleaner dictation, not raw transcripts.
The current development work is aligning the App Store build with the stronger local text pipeline from Diktator+ direct edition: silence handling, safer cleanup, spoken formatting, and guarded final proofreading.
Silence is not text
Short silence and edge noise are filtered before recognition so empty recordings do not turn into invented phrases.
Spoken formatting
Punctuation and paragraph commands are handled as formatting rules, separate from language cleanup.
Guarded final pass
Final cleanup is accepted only when it preserves enough of the original text and does not damage multilingual or mixed-script writing.
